Outside there are two trails: one to the astronomical viewpoint for observing the solstices and the stars, and another along the rim of the San Antonio Volcano, with easy access and the possibility of using the “joëlette” chair for those who need it. The walk around the rim of the volcano takes about 30 minutes there and back, to a viewpoint overlooking the southern and western slopes of the island, where you can see a great contrast of landscapes between volcanoes, vineyards and the sea that takes your breath away at first sight.
Sky Interpretation Centre.
The Sky Interpretation Centre is a space devoted to the popularisation of astronomy and volcanology. Its facilities feature interactive and educational exhibits that reveal the relationship between volcanic activity and the universe. It offers spacious areas for all audiences, providing a unique experience for exploring the sky and the Earth.
