Bodega de La Casa del Volcán. Housed in a traditional stone building dating from 1919 – more than 100 years old! – and registered in the La Palma wine Designation of Origin since 2009, it makes, by hand and with minimal intervention, a dry white wine under the lacasadelvolcan.es brand,
from the grape variety known in Fuencaliente as “Bujariego”, called “Vijariego blanco”, “Diego” or “Vijiriega común” in other areas, grown in the surroundings of the winery at between 500 and 650 metres of altitude, and sold at its own shop. A traditionally very dry wine, pale or straw yellow, not very aromatic, with green apple standing out, high acidity and a certain bitterness.
