Located within the DO La Palma, Bodegas Victoria Torres Pecis is a small family winery at the southern tip of the designation, in the Fuencaliente sub-zone. Its location on an island of privileged nature, whose entire territory is recognised by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve – which also places it in a special and fragile environment –, the proximity and omnipresence of the sea and its influence, and the impressive, abrupt orography – La Palma is the highest island on the planet relative to its surface area – explain the numerous microclimates, the character and variety of its soils, the different ways of growing the vine and the age of its vineyards.
Founded in 1885, it is one of the oldest wineries in the Canary Islands, making and selling wine without interruption ever since through successive generations of the same family, up to the fourth and fifth, who work side by side today.
