Discover the route

Fuencaliente is a land of versadores, and this route takes their décimas out into the landscape. Each stop has a plaque with a ten-line poem dedicated to the place: viewpoints, squares, beaches and parks across the municipality. The first phase brought together ten plaques in 2024, coordinated by the versador Yapci Bienes with the collaboration of the decimista Justo Roberto Pérez Cruz. In August 2026 the décima by Miguel Martín Méndez, a native of Las Indias, was added at the renovated Las Indias Viewpoint, next to a sculpture by Gustavo Díaz. The route is done in parts, by car between stops, and you can start at Plaza Minerva, where the Tourist Office is.

Before you set off

The stops are spread across the municipality and some require travelling by road. The order, distance and overall duration of the route are still to be confirmed.
