Just past the village is the Mirador de Las Indias viewpoint, renovated in 2026 with a décima poem and a sculpture, with a picnic area and views of the south-west coast and of El Hierro. In the district’s park there is an eagle carved in Canary pine wood by the sculptor Juanito, from Los Quemados. Above, at 800 m, at the crossroads between La Fajana, Los Canarios, Los Quemados and Las Indias, grows the Pino de Santo Domingo, a Canary pine between 350 and 400 years old with its own recreation area.
From La Fajana the old fishermen’s and shepherds’ path descends, which municipal Route 2 follows to Las Indias and La Zamora beach. See also: Mirador de Las Indias.
